Sophia Stichting Voor Het Zieke Kind from Rotterdam has promised to give us 1.000 EUR for this project.

Paul Tensen Stichting from Heemstede has given 750 EUR for this project.

In June 2002 we received a request for help from the Crimean Regional Children Hospital of Simferopol to provide them with new Infuse pumps.

Issues are constantly arising with regards to the Infuse pumps currently in use at the Hospital, and as they have a very limited budget available it does not allow for the purchase of the necessary amount of new equipment. As a result children are forced to "queue" to receive the necessary treatment, which when in many cases may be a matter of life or death is wholly unacceptable.

German colleagues donated the second hand Infuse pumps, that are currently in use to the Hospital, in 1992, however this equipment is now run down and outdated. That's why it is vital that we provide new Infuse pumps as soon as possible.

At the moment Foundation Save a Russian Child is busy searching for sponsors who would help with the purchasing of some new infuse pumps (made by B.Broun company) for the Crimean Regional Children Hospital.

Up-dates detailing further developments regarding this project will be published on this page.

Collection 14-19 April 2003

Following on from the phenomenal success of our collection week in October 2002, we are already in the process of organizing, in co-operation with Wilde Ganzen and NCDO, the first of 2003's Collection weeks. We are keen to ensure that this next campaign will be even more successful than the first, as such we are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to take part in our next collection week running from 14-19th April 2003 in Amsterdam.
