OLYMPISCHE SPELEN 80

Op 17 augustus 2003 heeft Stichting Red een Russisch Kind deel genomen aan de "Olympische Spelen 80" die waren door "SalonUSSR" vlakbij Amsterdam op het Nieuwe Meer georganiseerd.

Voor het begin van de Spelen, bij de ingang, en gedurende het hele sportevenement was een groep van enkele vrijwilligers druk bezig met het verspreiden van de informatiefolders over het werk van Stichting Red een Russisch Kind onder de actieve deelnemers en de gasten.
De voorlichtingsactie heeft voldoende aandacht van de publiek getrokken.

Een samenvatting van de inhoud van de "Olympische Spelen 80":

“Oh-Oh-Oh, Oh-h!”- read out Leonid I. Brezhnev the first five letters of his opening speech at the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in Moscow. The five O’s stood for five Olympic rings.
23 years after SalonUSSR deciphered the formula and revealed the true sentimental quality of Olimpiada 80.

DJs: Mulat, Goldfinger, Akla, Alec Smart: from International Sport Themes to the 80’s disco.

* Races, jumping, rowing on the grass, foot and handball, arm wrestling, think sports, shooting, badminton, family relay race and many others.
