Lymphohemangioma of frontal-lateral
surface of a neck .

The tumor was found even before Vika’s birth - on 23-rd week of mum’s pregnancy. From that moment they are in a hospital. Doctors assured, that no reason to worry - it will be in a size of a button and will not disturb. But during pregnancy the tumor was doubled and at the moment of delivery was already huge.

It was offered to parents to refuse the child as a hopeless case. But they have decided to struggle up to the end. Vika was in Poltava’s hospital where doctors observed her, and 2 months later they have arrived to Kiev in hospital Ohmadet where during one month the girl passed inspections and consultations of leading experts.

Marina, the volunteer of AdVita foundation in Germany informs: “… one foundation has given for the treatment 20,000 euros. With the help of kind people we have collected 6,000 euros more and it is all… Vika is mean while in the Clinic Helios and all the time remains in reanimation - 970 euros per day!
This week Vika had two operations and one more is scheduled. Thanks God, doctors say, that Vika will be recovered for 100 %.”

Marina, the volunteer of AdVita foundation in Germany informs: “From 23.01.2008 Vika with her mum stays in Berlin’s clinic “HELIOS Klinikum Berlin-Buch” (Wiltbergstr. 50, 13125 Berlin; Dr. Schweigerer, tel. +49 30 9401 2359/ 3258). They have arrived from Ukraine where the girl did not have any treatment. Doctor Schweigerer has agreed to take them for treatment in Berlin, but the pro-forma invoice calcucates 30.00 euros. We have persuaded doctors to take a prepayment of 10.000 euros, and mum will pay other sum in short term. You understand, that for the woman from Ukraine/Poltava it is the huge sum.
Doctors have made all analyses - Thanks God a tumor is benign. But as the tumor is simply huge, several operations will be needed and a plastics surgery. Donated money can be transferred directly on the account of clinic.

At present the situation is following: the tumor is increased and grows outside. Now to perform operation it is not obviously possible because of absence of the equipment in Ukraine. It is necessary to wait up to 6-month's age, or to search for foreign clinic. Thanks God, one German clinic has already agreed to take the girl. It is necessary to collect for her treatment a sum of 30 thousand euros …
