Vladimir Rodionov has arrived to hematological department of the Crimean children's hospital at the end of the last year with relapse of acute lymphoblast leukaemia. Doctors have carried out a complete inspection of Vladimir and came to a conclusion: to rescue his life is only possible by making a transplantation of bone marrow from the closely related donor. And the donor was found! Bone marrow of boy’s sister appeared to be completely compatible with his own. It seemed that it is possible to go for an operation to Kiev... There’s only one main problem: finding necessary financials for purchase of the expensive medicines necessary during transplantation and during the long period of nursing. The total amount which has to be collected is 12.000 – 20.000 dollars...

The Vladimir’s parents have to pay only the sum of SIX THOUSAND USD. Other part of charges covers the state and foreign sponsors.

It is a lot or a little - six thousand dollars?... In comparison to a total cost of necessary medicines - absolutely little sum. In comparison with scanty salaries of Vladimir’s parents, living in countryside of Crimea - catastrophically high…

After preparatory "chemistry" boy did not enter into “remission”. Therefore in Simferopol’s hospital one more, amplified block of chemotherapy is begun...

On June 12 Vladimir’s good parameters after the chemotherapy block begun to collapse. The high temperature was a danger and, accordingly, antibiotics were used. The temperature did not manage to be brought down up to the end of July!!! Vladimir has received an inconceivable share of every possible antibiotics. RECOVERY OF THE BOY FROM LEUCOPENIA PROMPTLY BEGAN "TO EAT" the MEANS COLLECTED FOR PURCHASE of PREPARATIONS FOR TRANSPLANTATION…

Furthermore... On a background of leucopenia a fungus infection was found. And Vladimir got prescribed Ambizom. At first - 15 bottles (the costs of one bottle 180 - 300 dollars... ).
While Ambizom is not available, boy get Fungizon injected. But its big dozes are very toxic for kidneys...
