But also a high dose polychemotherapy has not given a result. The only small hope remained for Kiev: children's surgeons and hematologists of the capital city have undertaken a trial to make global removal of a tumor (taking place in contact with the vital bodies) with a following special chemotherapy.

Dimiti's organism did not survive the operation - he has died on the third day after it...

Dimitri is now in a heavy situation. The answer to intensive polychemotherapy was not received. The tumor after removal has given a progression till the former size. Nevertheless, doctors do not get discouraged. One more course of a strengthened therapy is now scheduled for Dimitri, which he will go through in Kiev.

Dear Friends! Dear Sirs!

I am Irina Kulagina, mother of two children.
My yongest son Dimitri will become 4 years old on the 25th of April. From autumn last year we are constantly in the hospital. First in Kiev (Crimea, Ukraine), in October the 16th, he had an operation, consequences of which became very heavy... After removal of the tumor from his stomach, metostases were found which were impossible to operate.
We came back to Crimea and were accepted in the department of hematology Cremean Republican Children's Clinical Hospital where doctors decided to help the situation through chemotherapy.
But Dimitri's condition remained difficult - his body did not react well to this treatment....
Now, in order to rescue my son, he needs to undergo similar but very high dose therapy. Hospital doesn't have necessary medications. We have to buy it ourselves but during last 5 months all our means are finished.
Therefore I am asking for help -will be greatfull from all my heart to all who will respond!
