In early June there’s done refined partitioning and
radiation therapy is started. In total 27 sessions to 20 minutes
are scheduled. Despite intensive therapy, unfortunately, the
tumor is grown till 53 thousand. This means that the tumor
is still active. Doctors continue to radiation therapy.

Ira is in University Clinic (Universitatsklinikum
Dusseldorf, Moorenstr 5, D-40225, tel. + 49-211-81-18063,
patient 20190053). The girl has got stronger,
runs, plays. Parameters of blood practically were completely
restored, oncological markers have considerably fallen. Operation
is appointed for Monday May, 4. Even for German measures it’s
very heavy and represents the certain risk. Doctors, certainly,
will try to reduce all risks to a minimum, but danger exists.
The tumor is located close to a direct gut and the right side
of ureter. The probability of removing of a direct gut on
a front wall of a stomach (stoma) is not excluded.
The preliminary sum for operation will make from 15 up to
20 thousand euro + costs for ten-day stay in reanimation.
The financial help is very necessary for the girl, please,
help!

The letter of Ira's father:
"We were treated in Oncology Center of the Russian children's
clinical hospital; the child went through some courses of chemotherapy,
but is ineffectual...
Now the daughter with mum are in Germany. For today the child went
through 2 courses of supportive therapy (chemotherapy + hyperthermia)
in Universitatsklinikum
Dusseldorf. According to German experts there is a result as
reduction of the size of a tumor and its activity. After the termination
of 2 courses of treatment a consultation of attending physicians
and the decision on realization of one more block (third) of the
given therapy before realization of operation is accepted. It will
allow to create favorable conditions for surgical treatment and
to increase positive outcome of all treatments. The Saltykova Foundation
has donated to us 2 blocks of therapy and has listed 18.000 euros.
But for Irina's further treatment there are no means available.
If they will not come, treatment will be stopped before the planned
end. It is impossible....
I address every possible funds, the organizations, to colleagues
and relatives. We have sold everything, that was possible, have
taken the credit, but have collected only a part of the necessary
sum (12 000 euros which have left on inspection and in part on hyperthermia).
Realization of operation in Munich (cost of surgical treatment
on earlier exposed account of clinic of children's surgery of Munich
makes 35.000 euros) and one more block of therapy (fourth) in Dusseldorf
is necessary. Cost of one block of therapy makes 15.000 euros.
But we don’t have more resources to take money from:
I work in budgetary sphere (the Ministry of Emergency Measures of
Russia, fire protection), the wife does not work, since 2005 looks
after the child - invalid, receives pension on a care of the child.
Ira is a very kind and tender girl, they with sister - twin
Marinka - are very much adhered to each other and care about each
other.
